This Acrylic painting was inspired by my time at the Artspot YYC art show on June 17th, 2023!

There were so many inspiring portraits, people, art, food, and more. It was impossible to not make at least one colourful painting to commemorate my time spent there. The original sketch was also completely drawn while at my table at this particular art show!

I then transferred and polished my sketch to a piece of foamboard and decided to see how well it would take acrylic paint.

I had so much fun with this piece, I loved the “lollypop wolverine” aspect the SECOND it popped into my mind, and had to make it a reality. The Linework from the transfer stencil was also saved to be turned into a future tattoo!
